Obaid Sheikh at Fashion Pakistan Week 2010

Inspired by Punjabi embellishments, fashion designer Obaid Sheikh presented culture and heritage, at the Pakistan Fashion Week 2, day two. 

To present the true shade of Punjab, Obaid Sheikh has used the colors purple in abundance as he experimented with chiffons, crepe silk, georgettes and pure atlus. Obaid Sheikh meticulously constructed fitted patterns, flowing skirts as well as gathers. Obaid Sheikh showcased the material in a complimentary and chic fashion. The whole composition was summarized as ethnic work in western cuts, which was a brilliant fusion of East and West.

Obaid Sheikh believes Pun-Jammni is anything but ordinary, therefore his designs are wearable on, and off the ramp. Along with the use of traditional Punjabi handwork Obaid has also used contemporary cuts so as to ensure a balanced collection.

Imbias at Fashion Pakistan Week 2010

Among some other fashion designers, Imran & Rabia also showcased their uniquely design philosophy at the Pakistan Fashion Week 2.

Fashion
designers Imran & Rabia titled their collection as ‘Glamour-ama’, inspired by the extension of human intellect. Their assortment was based on the intricacies of cut, volume and embellishment with the diffusion of western cuts. Imran & Rabia used the mixture of various shades and experimented with insubstantial fabrics in novel clothing. This might be the reason that the collection of Fashion designers Imran & Rabia was represented a blend of fantasy and creativity.

The whole composition was a set of contrasts created by adroit use of matt and finished fabrics such as satin, chiffon, and rich silk. The corollary was a combination of dull and shiny, rough, and smooth, and closed and transparent. Every outfit was reimbursed and technically finished to give a new look to red carpet culture for Spring/Summer 2010.

Ali Xeeshan at Fashion Pakistan Week 2010

One of the emerging names of the Pakistani Fashion Industry, Ali Zeehan launched another exciting fashion anthology at the Fashion Pakistan Week 2.

After successfully showcased his designing philosophy at the Fashion Pakistan Week 1, Fashion designer Ali Xeeshan also amazed the fashion audience at Fashion Pakistan Week 2. Ali Zeehan used conventional materials to create unorthodox aesthetics and a simple harmony between the traditional and the modern-grade. The collection by Fashion designer Ali Xeeshan depicted the spirit of joy, merry-making, the adrenaline rush that took the audience to another world. The silk, chiffon, laces and lame created the perfect embodiment of happiness and revelry.

Zaheer Abbas at Fashion Pakistan Week 2010

Zaheer Abbas, the new emerging fashion designer presented his debut collection at Pakistan Fashion Week 2.
Keeping Simplicity as his philosophy, the collection “Lady Un-veilwas inspired from the elements of Islamic art. Fashion designer Zaheer Abbas reflected an emblem of geometric structure and flow with prominent illustration of silhouettes and free-flowing designs. Dazzling rich colors of mosaics and the immense use of chiffon in the assortment of Fashion designer Zaheer Abbas added volume to the Pakistan Fashion Week 2.
Ghunghurs added an indulging rhythm to this symphony; along with the grace, symmetry and style.
